Growth Mindset Assessment

An interactive tool for new leaders to better understand their mindset while looking to grow and improve their skills and abilities.

Our client needed help with their existing leadership development program. Specifically, they noticed that although participants appeared engaged, they needed tangible outcomes or growth from the experience.

There was a trend where folks dropped out of the program before completing it.

The program consisted of live presentations and homework assignments to facilitate discussion among participants. One of the assignments required participants to complete a self-assessment to evaluate their mindset before entering the program. However, the initial assessment was paper-based and meant only for the individual’s reference.

This lack of follow-up led many participants to skip it altogether, significantly reducing the program’s impact.

What We Delivered.

I recommended integrating the assessment as a critical program component to tackle the challenge.

I developed a modified version of the assessment in Storyline 360 that is interactive and captures participants’ responses within their Docebo LMS. The updated format automated the score-keeping and tallying of the results and allowed participants to revisit and update their answers.

This feature aids in tracking their growth and mindset throughout the program, thereby promoting the continuity of the learning experience.
